After months of intensive preparations and equipping, our Anyang printing solutions center – the Anyang PCL Jie Da Pte Ltd (“Anyang PCL Printers”), has started production. With the latest technology and the local knowledge of its Chinese partner, Anyang PCL Printers replicates our one-stop printing solution model in Singapore.

At present, occupying a land-space of nearly 8000 square meters (out of our 23,000 square meters land), the factory is fully equipped with 4-color printing machines (the Japanese Komori Lithrone S40), folding machines, stitching and perfect binding machines, die-cut and other post-press machines. Furthermore, it has a pre-press department that is directly connected to the Singapore pre-press department for handling of unique requests from clients – providing a complete pre-press/press/post-press solution to all clients.

Despite the economic downturn, Anyang PCL Printers has already secured a long list of clients including the Henan University, the Henan Institute of Science and Technology, the Anyang Ren Da (People’s Assembly), Anyang Normal University and the An Cai Group amongst many others. With the Chinese Government placing more attention on the growth of its domestic market and its second-tier cities, and together with the opening of the Handan domestic airport (30 minutes drive), Anyang PCL Printers is poised to grow even more in the coming years.

Anyang PCL Printers is the Group’s first investment in China. Started with a paid-up capital of RMB 45 million, the plant is located at the ancient city of Anyang, Henan of China, where Henan is one of the most populated Chinese provinces and is also one of the top 5 provinces in GDP growth. The factory is one of the few foreign joint ventures that has its own book/magazine-printing license in China – a rare stamp of recognition of the investment.
